Welcome to Toronto Corrective Chiropractic: A New Standard for Spine, Posture & Pain Care in Toronto
By Dr. Alex Ritza — Toronto Corrective Chiropractic
If you’re new to Toronto Corrective Chiropractic—welcome.
If you’ve followed my Corrective Chiropractic approach or my cycling and NeuroStructural focused content for years—welcome back.
This blog is where I will share the same insights, clinical explanations, and real-world strategies I use every day to help people in Toronto move, feel, and live better.
But first, you should understand what makes our clinic different.
What Makes Toronto Corrective Chiropractic Different
At TCC, our philosophy centres around one question:
Why is the body producing symptoms in the first place?
We focus on identifying and correcting the Core Problems that create Collateral Damage—the recurring pain, stiffness, headaches, or injuries most people deal with for years. This Corrective model is the foundation of our clinic, and it’s the reason we invest in detailed assessments and personalized plans.
But long-term change rarely comes from one approach alone.
This is why we built a collaborative clinic with a team of practitioners who share the same standards of care and belief in addressing the whole person.
Why Toronto Needed a Different Kind of Chiropractic Clinic
Most people come to a chiropractor because something hurts: a stiff neck, tight shoulders, recurring headaches, low back pain, or discomfort from long hours sitting at work. These symptoms are common—but they’re rarely the real problem.
At TCC, we specialize in identifying and correcting the Core Problems that create Collateral Damage symptoms.
This means we don’t just treat what hurts.
We look deeper and correct the reason it hurts.
It’s a different philosophy, and it attracts a different kind of patient—someone who wants to fix the issue properly, not chase temporary relief.
What You Can Expect from Corrective Chiropractic at TCC
1. A Detailed NeuroStructural Examination
We start with the most comprehensive chiropractic exam most people have ever experienced.
This includes posture analysis, movement screening, neurological testing, structural evaluation, and X-ray referral when appropriate.
2. Evidence-Based Corrective Treatment
Our care is not generic.
Every patient receives a customized plan that includes:
- Corrective chiropractic adjustments
- Postural and structural rehab
- Movement and performance training
- Ergonomic and lifestyle strategies
- Cycling-specific insights when relevant
Long-Term Results You Can See and Feel
Our goal is not just quick relief—though many patients experience that too.
Our goal is lasting structural change that improves your health for years to come.
(Desiree & Juancho)**
Our RMT team blends relaxation, deep tissue, sports therapy, and clinical rehabilitation.
Desiree (RMT) (book here)
A focused, calming, biomechanics-oriented therapist known for her ability to find the exact tissue causing symptoms. She blends therapeutic massage with corrective exercises and often works closely with chiropractic patients to support mobility, tension reduction, and recovery.
Juancho (RMT) (book here)
A strong, highly skilled therapist with a background in sports massage, chronic pain treatment, and movement rehab. He is excellent with deep tissue work, neck/shoulder tension, and helping active clients recover faster.
Most chiropractic patients will pair their corrective treatment with RMT at some stage — it accelerates soft-tissue changes and helps maintain long-term progress.
